Welwyn Tennis club welcomes all playing standards and ages and has coaching and playing programmes to suit everybody. Their membership structure is designed to give all players entry to the club at a level that suits their lifestyle and playing habits.
All categories include Social Membership benefits as a minimum and parents are encouraged to join as social members to support the club and hence their child, but it is not mandatory.
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP Any age, includes table tennis, use of clubhouse and conditional eligibility for Wimbledon Draw. Parent can play with child who is a member only on Family Zone and court 9.
Juniors
Under the guidance of our experienced full time and part-time coaches, Welwyn Tennis Club has a thriving junior section. We take new recruits as young as 4½ years old and offer guidance and courses right up to adulthood.
Facilities
A total of 13 courts, ten floodlit (no charge for use)
Eight Astroturf courts, all floodlit, plus one carpeted court.
Two winter indoor courts under an air dome (small charge for use).
Custom designed four court Kid’s Zone with viewing area and patio.
Well-appointed clubhouse with Table Tennis a fully equipped kitchen, well-stocked bar and changing rooms with showers and a court viewing deck.

How to find Welwyn Tennis club; use Post Code AL6 9AT, you will need this map for the last few hundred yards because the Satellite navigation ends in Ottway Walk. From London Road, Welwyn, opposite the Steamer pub, turn into Ottway Walk. Follow the red arrows on the map below. continue past the Welwyn Sports & Social Club and up the single skinny track carefully over the speed humps until you get to the top, then turn right, after 20 yards turn left, go past Welwyn Bowls club and straight ahead you will find Welwyn Tennis club.
